May 3, 1:00 - 2:30 TENNIS BLOCK PARTY: Capitol Racquet and Fitness Center is hosting this event to kick off the 2009 season. The Tennis Block Party is a free, public event designed to promote and develop the growth of tennis through fun, tennis-focused games, activities and prizes. Registration materials will be available for summer programs for youth and adults.

 

May 8, BAND NIGHT PARADE: The BMTA will sponsor the "Tennis on the Move" parade entry to promote tennis.

 

June 1 - Aug. 14, SUMMER LEAGUES: A variety of summer leagues are available for all levels of play. Joining a league is a great way to meet other players and improve your game! Registration deadline is May 15.

 

June 11 - 14, JACKIE DOCKTER TOURNAMENT: This tournament is a special tribute in memory of Jackie Dockter. Proceeds are used to promote youth development activities. The tournament has a fun, relaxed atmosphere for all levels of competition, including both youth and adult.

 

Aug. 5 - 9,  BISMARCK OPEN TOURNAMENT:This is the area's premier competitive tennis event offering USTA sanctioned competition for youth and adults. Non-sanctioned events are also available.

 

Sept. 19, FALL CLASSIC TOURNAMENT:This is an adult only, one day, non-sanctioned tournament focusing on local players.

 

Oct. 9, ANNUAL MEETING: The annual membership meeting is a fun, social event to recognize the league winners and elect board members for the next year.
